Where Charleston County lost over 10,000 acres of tree canopy

How I made this: Obtained geojson data layer from ESRI feature server and processed in QGIS. Styled and made interactive through Mapbox GL JS.

This project came about as a collaboration between The Post and Courier’s ongoing Rising Waters series of real time climate change reporting and the College of Charleston’s Lowcountry Hazards Center.
